The 1978 Humanitarians Not Heroes edition is a set of five multi-colored plastic toy watches made for kids. The time on the watch faces reads two seconds before twelve o'clock. Whether it is imminent noon or midnight is not determined.

Children continue to play while elsewhere in the world the production of Volkswagen Beetles comes to a halt. Nine hundred people drink Kool-Aid laced with cyanide in Jonestown, Guyana at the same time that the first test tube baby is born in England to Lesley Brown.
