The facades of museums have recently been decked out with trendy advertisement art, from Philippe Parreno’s poetic marquee at the Guggenheim to Udo Rondinone’s insipid “HELL YES” at the New Museum. Los tres museos comprises three “historical images” that challenge the supposed radicality of our most cutting edge institutions.
